Brewers superstar Jacob Misiorowski brings Charizard-themed glove to All-Star Game
The Milwaukee Brewers will bring Jacob Misiorowski and a distinctive piece of custom equipment to the 2026 MLB All-Star Game in Philadelphia.
Misiorowski will take the field Tuesday at Citizens Bank Park with a Charizard-themed glove that combines his dominant season with a personal interest familiar to Brewers fans.
The 24-year-old entered the All-Star break with a 10-4 record, a 1.62 ERA, 167 strikeouts, and a 0.76 WHIP across 111 innings. These numbers earned him a second consecutive National League All-Star selection.
The flamethrowing right-hander also leads the league in ERA, strikeouts, opponent batting average, and WHIP, further establishing himself as one of baseball’s premier starting pitchers.
MLB shared a video on X, formerly Twitter, showing the Brewers ace with a colorful glove that had a Charizard card secured inside the webbing.

The design carries additional meaning because Misiorowski has a genuine connection to collecting Pokemon. In August 2025, he pulled a holographic Charizard from a pack of original 1999 Pokemon cards inside Milwaukee’s clubhouse.
His enthusiastic reaction, along with those of his teammates, quickly spread online. The new glove brings that memorable clubhouse moment onto baseball’s summer stage and makes the hobby part of Misiorowski’s All-Star appearance.
The custom equipment also gives the Brewers’ young star an opportunity to show personality without taking attention away from his performance. His interests add another dimension to a pitcher whose velocity and results have made him one of the sport’s most compelling young stars.
The glove is likely to draw attention before Misiorowski throws a pitch. Its card display creates a natural crossover between baseball and Pokémon collecting for fans of both.
It also provides the event with a memorable visual that reflects his personality and history.
Misiorowski earned his place in Philadelphia through overpowering results, but his Charizard-themed glove gives Brewers supporters another detail to watch during the All-Star Game.
