Brawling Knicks fans outside MSG after Game 3 loss force police to move in
A scary scene unfolded outside of Madison Square Garden (MSG) following Game 3, as New York Knicks fans began brawling, forcing NYPD to get involved.
Suffice it to say, some Knicks fans didn’t take their loss to the San Antonio Spurs well. Videos have surfaced of fans brawling in the streets of New York, and eventually, it got so out of hand that police got involved.

Police did their best to diffuse tensions and separate fans. People were swinging fists and public transportation signs, and it appears some even got detained. Towards the end of one video, a fan began chanting, “Knicks in five!” as someone was being detained.
The Knicks’ disappointing Game 3 loss at MSG

The Garden was excited to welcome the Knicks back after they went to San Antonio to win the first two games of the NBA Finals.
However, the homecoming ended with disappointment. Instead of going up 3-0, their lead has been cut to 2-1 by the Spurs, who won Game 3 by four points.
Perhaps tensions were even higher due to the safety precautions taken for President Donald Trump’s arrival. MSG went above and beyond to ensure everyone’s safety. After getting into the arena, the Knicks then lost.
The Knicks will be able to get back on track on Wednesday, June 10. If the Knicks win, they will head back to San Antonio with a 3-1 lead.
Victor Wembanyama took over Game 3 for the Spurs. He and Jalen Brunson both scored 32 points, but Wemby was more efficient, making 11 of his 18 shots. Brunson, meanwhile, only made 11 of his 25 shots, which was still the best he has shot in the series. OG Anunoby and Josh Hart provided help for Brunson, logging 28 and 16 points, respectively. The Spurs gave Hart chances, and he took advantage, making four of his seven three-pointers.
