Braves, Robert Suarez agree to $45 million contract in free agency
After missing out on the playoffs in 2025, the Atlanta Braves are looking ensure the same doesn’t happen come 2026. In their latest move, the Braves have made an eye-opening addition to the back end of their bullpen.
Atlanta has signed closer Robert Suarez to a three-year, $45 million contract, via Jeff Passan of ESPN. As a member of the San Diego Padres in 2025, Suarez led MLB with 40 saves.
