Best DFS picks for Bears vs Rams in Divisional round
The Chicago Bears host the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday. The Rams are currently 3.5-point favorites on the road, with the over/under set at 48.5 points. The weather will be chilly, as the temperature will be in the teens and the wind chill will likely be around zero to below zero.
Below we will take a look at the best DFS plays for this Divisional round showdown.
Captain’s Picks
Puka Nacua, WR, Rams (FLEX $13,400, CPT $20,100)
He’s the most expensive player going in this game, but for good reason. He had a crazy 18 targets last week in the Wild Card round vs. the Panthers, and he ended up 10 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown, but also had three rushing attempts for 14 yards and another touchdown! That’s 21 touches! And he hasn’t seen fewer than nine targets since Week 11.
Blake Corum, RB, Rams (FLEX $7,400, CPT $11,100)
Corum has skills and it’s allowed him to carve out an even split between himself and Kyren Williams over the last couple games. I really like Matthew Stafford and Caleb Williams and Nacua and Davante Adams in this game, and it’s going to be tough to afford them. That’s why I’m willing to find some salary relief with Corum, who I think has great upside if things fall the Rams’ way. He’s risky as a captain’s pick to be sure, but in big tournaments I’ll have a chunk of lineups with him in the big boy chair.
D’Andre Swift, RB, Bears (FLEX $9,600, CPT $14,400)
Swift’s usage has been all over the place this year, but he has been getting more touches than his backup Kyle Monangai by a wider margin over the last couple games. His ability as a runner and receiver should keep him on the field, and he has good upside if the Bears get behind or get a lead.
Value flex plays
Luther Burden, WR, Bears (FLEX $7,000, CPT $10,500)
Burden didn’t do much against the Packers last week, but he did see seven targets, catching three for 42 yards. The good news is we know his upside is great. Just three games ago he caught eight passes for 138 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers and the week before that he caught six passes for 84 yards against the Browns. At just 7k on FanDuel, he’s just too cheap for his upside.
Colby Parkinson, TE, Rams (FLEX $5,400, CPT $8,100)
Parkinson only had three targets in the Wild Card round, but amazingly caught two touchdowns. He now has nine touchdowns over the last ten games and 16 red zone targets during that stretch. Tyler Higbee is back and Terrance Ferguson might be as well, so we can’t expect many targets again. I could see fading him due to his outlier efficiency, but his price is good and Stafford seems to love him in the red zone.
Kyle Monangai, RB, Bears (FLEX $5,800, CPT $8,700)
Monangai hasn’t seen a ton of work of late, but he’s still getting 10 or more looks a game on average. I don’t think I’d use him if you take Swift at captain, but he could easily hit value at his price.
