That feat, shockingly, broke a franchise record for the most Ks to start a game. It is impressive, however, with all the elite starting pitchers this organization has had, you would have thought that seven would have been reached before.

Wheeler and the Phillies are aiming to clinch a postseason berth in the coming days. They have a tough schedule, taking on the Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays to close out the regular season.
