While he has been out of action for almost half a year, WWE star Drew McIntyre may not be returning anytime soon as he enjoys making movies in Hollywood.
Speaking to OutKick Dropkick, the “Scottish Warrior” promised that he's in the best shape of his career. However, at the moment, he is “focused on Hollywood Drew.”
“I’m as big as I’ve ever been. I’m 285, right? And I’m 10 pounds bigger than I was for Agent of Shadows,” he said. “I’m in the best shape of my life. I posted myself running the ropes the other day, keeping myself in ring shape. I’m always ready to go. I think it got like over 8 million views, just bouncing off the ropes a few times, across my social media platforms.
“But right now, I’m focused on Hollywood Drew. So, we’ll see. We will see,” he continued.
When will Drew McIntyre return to WWE from making movies?

It's unknown when McIntyre will return to WWE from his ongoing hiatus. He has not been seen in WWE programming since WrestleMania 42 in April. He is approaching almost six months since his break started.
Article Continues BelowMcIntyre has been making movies during his absence. He filmed roles in The Last Druid and Highlander, both of which star Russell Crowe, and was recently announced as part of Hexed's cast.
He made his acting debut in 2024's The Killer's Game. The movie was led by former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista (better known as Batista in professional wrestling).
Clearly, he has impressed the right people, as he is now starring in Highlander reboots and animated Disney movies. He is also going to star in WWE and ReelShort's collaboration, Agent of Shadows, playing the lead, Adam Hawk. If all goes well, expect him to get even more jobs. He has been wrestling for over 25 years — maybe he is setting himself for a career outside of the ring once he retires.
