Last week on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, Tiffany Stratton and Penta participated in and won their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches. Both Penta and Stratton now have the opportunity to cash in the briefcase on a champion of their choice, any time, any place.

For the women’s match, Tiffany Stratton bounced back from a scary ladder fall and claimed her second briefcase, while Penta earned the men’s Money in the Bank contract in the show’s main event after dropping Bron Breakker with a Mexican Destroyer on top of a ladder.

While Stratton and Penta were widely seen as strong contenders, Roxanne Perez and Bron Breakker held the odds heading into Money in the Bank PLE. However, after neither of them walked out with a championship opportunity, False Finish reported that Perez and Breakker were originally planned to win their respective ladder matches before WWE decided to go with Stratton and Penta.

“Roxanne Perez and Bron Breakker were originally scheduled to win their respective MITB matches before WWE ultimately decided on Tiffany Stratton and Penta,” False Fight wrote on their official social media handle.

Following his briefcase win at the PLE, Penta recently debuted a brand-new custom Money in the Bank briefcase with his face, art style, and Pyro in it. The briefcase soon went viral and is, as of now, sold out on WWE's online shops.

After her Money in the Bank scary ladder spot, Tiffany Stratton appeared on the post-show, where she addressed her injury status.

“I’m sitting here, my neck still hurts, but I wanted to do anything it took to get that briefcase,” Stratton said. “So I told medical I was okay. I wanna still power through this match and get through it because what’s a ladder match without Tiffy in it? So I powered through it and it worked out in the end.”
