Long before rapper Travis Scott's falling out with WWE, he was training—presumably for a match—with the Hall of Famer Booker T.
During his Hall of Fame podcast (via Fightful), Booker T confirmed that he trained Scott. However, he conceded that things “just didn't work out.” He said that his work outside of the ring might've impacted his commitment to training.
“Just didn’t work out. That’s all,” he said. “Yeah, I did work with Travis. I see a lot of guys like Logan Paul, Bad Bunny, iShowSpeed, Lil Yachty, and they come in and do a lot of things. A lot of times, it’s for them, but it’s not for everybody.
“With Travis Scott, this guy has so much work, he’s doing this, that, and then he’s trying to do [wrestling], I think that’s what it was more than anything. After working with him a couple of times, I could see that he could perform the work; I saw it with my own eyes, but the timing put into this, compared to every other project he had going on, as well as his music, I don’t think the time was right,” he added.
Travis Scott's short-lived WWE career

Scott began making appearances in WWE in 2025, making his debut during the Monday Night RAW on Netflix premiere on Jan. 6, 2025, escorting Jey Uso to the ring for his match.
He would return a couple of months later at Elimination Chamber. Scott was part of the infamous John Cena heel turn, slapping Cody Rhodes and busting his eardrum.
Scott would once again attack Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 during the “American Nightmare's” match against John Cena. However, his attacks would be thwarted by Rhodes. It appeared he was going to have a match involving Cena and Rhodes, but that wouldn't happen.
