WWE Crown Jewel 2026: Predictions, Match Card and Memorable Moments

WWE is full speed ahead with Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia this Saturday at 12:00 p.m. ET inside the ANB arena. Mark Shapiro, TKO President, acknowledged the safety of everyone involved but said they must complete their deal with Saudi Arabia. The deal ends in 2027, and WrestleMania is in Saudi Arabia in April.

Here are a few other developments this past week. Bruce Prichard, the Executive Director of Creative Writing and Talent, is retiring next year. Shawn Michaels will replace him, and AJ Styles is rumored for a bigger role in NXT. Let’s see what Crown Jewel has to offer. Winners highlighted in red.

Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn: Crown Jewel Championship

The Tribal Chief against the honorary Uce could end in shenanigans. The 946 get involved and cost Reigns the match since there are no stakes. I don’t see how Sami Zayn can lose in Saudi Arabia, but this is WWE, so anything is possible. No matter what, Roman Reigns is having the best matches of his career, and the two will put on a show for the fans. Lastly, Zayn deserves credit for carrying this feud with Reigns on a reduced schedule.

Chelsea Green vs. Liv Morgan: Crown Jewel Title

Chelsea Green has been booked like a joke since becoming WWE Women’s Champion. She is constantly in disbelief that she has the title, and likely won’t win here. Liv Morgan will rely on the Judgment Day’s interference for the 1000 th time. Also, please don’t make Tiffany Stratton fly to Saudi Arabia to tease a cash-in. She’s teased it for three straight shows, and the crowd reaction won’t be what WWE hoped for when she finally cashes it in.

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton: Last Man Standing Match

Here’s to hoping this is the last match in the iteration of their rivalry. Rhodes is WWE’s QB1, and whether a punt kick happens or not, the babyfaces don’t lose these stipulations. It’s also baffling that two superstars with plenty of history haven’t been able to tell a proper story.

Bron Breakker and Austin Theory vs Penta and Je’von Evans: Raw Tag Titles

Since WWE forgot these titles existed, let’s hope the belts change hands. Breakker needs to leave the Vision, and two high flyers as champs sounds fun.

A few memorable moments in Crown Jewel history below.

History Made in Saudi Arabia

On Halloween 2019, Natalya and Lacey Evans became the first two women in pro wrestling to compete in the KSA. The two superstars had to cover themselves head to toe, and Natalya defeated Lacey Evans. These two set the stage for female superstars to wrestle in the country in the future.

Titus WorldSlide

In the only 50-man Royal Rumble in WWE history, Titus O Neil entered at #39. He slipped under the ring apron before entering the match. Vince McMahon demanded the production replay it on a loop, leading many officials to break character and laugh. O’Neil’s blunder will be remembered forever.

Four Hall of Famers Walk into a Ring

Vince McMahon was on a plane when he asked Bruce Prichard about dream matches for Saudi Arabia. Prichard pitched the Brothers of Destruction against D-Generation X, and it happened. Shawn Michaels laced up the boots and teamed with Triple H to take on Kane and the Undertaker. Everyone thought it was a good idea, until the bell rang.

Triple H blew out his triceps; Shawn Michaels hit the worst moon sault of his career, and Kane’s mask came off. DX won the fight, and ‘Taker admitted this match was a catastrophe.

ONE LAST TIME

AJ Styles faced the ‘career killer’ Gunther in his last match at the Royal Rumble this year. Styles debuted at the Rumble ten years ago at the same PLE. The Ring General put him to sleep, and the Phenomenal One retired on the following Raw. He is now in NXT and has a podcast called ‘The AJ Styles Show.’

WWE fans and anyone interested in watching this PLE can watch it on ESPN Unlimited for $32.99.
