A few days ago, Jake Paul announced his return fight on Dec. 24, 2026, in Dubai, UAE. Hours later, he confirmed Kickboxing veteran Cedric Doumbe as his comeback opponent. However, this sent the world into a frenzy.
Recently, in an interview with The Sun Sport, MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian claimed that Paul was in talks with Darren Till regarding a fight at the end of this year or early 2027. “Darren Till is definitely one of the names that Jake put out there on his list, and is definitely one of the names that we’ve been speaking to,” he said. “The date, time, and location depends on how quickly I can get the opponent done and the distribution of the fight appropriately figured out based on that opponent.”
However, after Till was ruled out as a potential opponent for Paul and instead replaced by the French kickboxer, Till went on a rant. Recently, speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, he expressed his true feelings for ‘fraud' Paul and Bidarian.
“We agreed on a price and obviously it was going to be in Dubai on the 24th of December, where I live,” Till said. “I've been in camp for the past two weeks with my coach; I flew him out. Getting ready seven weeks away… Out of nowhere, this fight gets announced; this daft fight gets announced with Cédric Doumbé.”
“I don't think anyone outside of his own house knows who he is. Jake probably just wants to see how his jaw is against someone who weighs 150 pounds on a good day. It's a fraudulent showing. Everyone is a fraud. Jake's a fraud. Nakisa is a little fraud.
“Waste of my time. Couldn't give a f–k. If you want to fight me next year, fight me next year. So I just wasted about 5,000 pounds getting my coach out here, but it's all good,” the former UFC fighter added.
