New England Patriots left tackle Will Campbell is ready to move on to Week 2 following last week's 13-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Opening Night. As starting quarterback Drake Maye and the Patriots look to recover from a disappointing ending in their season opener, Campbell reiterated the team's focus ahead of facing the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Campbell, who started the Patriots' 2026 season on a positive note from an individual standpoint, wasn't interested in looking back on his performance against the Seahawks, per ESPN's Mike Reiss.

“It doesn’t matter. We lost the game,” Campbell said. “I just gotta do more and clean up the stuff that wasn’t good. All I care about is winning. That’s all that matters to me.”

Considering Will Campbell's struggles in the Patriots' 29-13 loss to the Seahawks in last season's Super Bowl, he improved greatly against the defending champions. His earned an 84.4 pass-blocking grade, finishing fifth among qualifying NFL tackles in Week 1.

Despite the Patriots' offense losing wide receiver A.J. Brown with a high-ankle sprain in last week's loss, sidelining the veteran for three-to-six weeks, the defense held strong before Maye threw two late-game interception that propelled the Seahawks to victory, and sealed New England's fate.

Still, Campbell isn't pointing fingers nor taking the blame in one form or another. Instead, he's focused on the Patriots earning their first victory of the 2026 NFL season when they'll host the Steelers in Week 2 at Gillette Stadium. The defending AFC champions will look to grab their first win in their home opener on Sunday.
