A man was arrested on suspicion of stalking Philadelphia 76ers star LeBron James after allegedly entering his Los Angeles property Friday night and claiming to be the NBA superstar's son, according to a report from TMZ on Saturday.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that security personnel contacted police around 9 p.m. Friday after spotting an unidentified man on surveillance cameras at James' property.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene and arrested the suspect on suspicion of stalking.

TMZ reported that the man made an unusual claim while speaking with authorities.

Authorities confirmed that the suspect did not enter James' residence, although police filed a stalking report following the incident.

The man's identity has not been publicly disclosed, and additional details surrounding his alleged actions remain unclear. There has been no indication that James or his family encountered the suspect during the incident.
