While it has been almost a year since Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson broke up, according to reports, the North Carolina football coach's family is still “concerned” about him.

On one hand, they are “relieved” that they have broken up, but “concerns” still linger, according to Page Six. A source explained that the near-50-year age gap wasn't a problem so much as “how involved she had become in his professional life.”

“Bill’s family never really had an issue with the age difference between him and Jordon,” the insider explained to Page Six. “Their concerns were more about how involved she had become in his professional life.”

They have reportedly been broken up since “late last year,” and yet, she has attended some of the Tar Heels' games this year. Hudson is “still very involved in his business affairs,” and even his family “don't really know the full extent of her involvement” or “how much say she has or exactly what responsibilities Bill has given her.”

To be clear, Belichick's family isn't “accusing her of doing anything wrong.” If anything, they are just confused about “what her role looks like now that they're no longer together.”

Reports recently surfaced that Belichick and Hudson broke up “late last year.” They had been dating since 2023, though they didn't go public with their relationship until 2024. The two have rarely discussed the origins of their relationship. Hudson infamously interrupted Belichick's interview with CBS Sunday Morning when he was asked how they met.

Belichick is in the middle of his second season as North Carolina's football coach. He has already matched his win total from last year, as the Tar Heels are 4-4. They went 4-8 last season. The Tar Heels will next play UConn, who are also 4-4.
