Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Justin Verlander has made only one start this season. Verlander suffered an injury early in the year and later announced that he is planning to retire after the season. The MLB world has spent the past few months wondering if Verlander would pitch again before retiring. Sure enough, fans will get to see the future Hall of Famer on a big league mound one more time.

Verlander, who is working his way back from a left hamstring strain, will throw a bullpen on Tuesday. He is expected to start the Tigers' contest on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, which will be Detroit's second to last game of the season.
