Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald is indeed back. The defensive tackle finally made his first appearance in an NFL game since returning from retirement to play the game he loves again.

On Monday night, he showed he still has it, particularly in a stop he made in the first half of Week 2's Monday Night Football game between the Rams and the New York Giants at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

With the Giants on the verge of scoring on a 3rd-and-2, Donald stepped up and halted the progress of New York running back Najee Harris. Donald's quickness and power are still there, and he clearly got the job done in that play.

At the same time, that also seems like a poor job by New York's offensive line. Giants tight end Isaiah Likely tried to slow down Donald, but he was brushed off like a wet cardboard by the future Pro Football Hall of Famer.

The 35-year-old Aaron Donald is still trying to find his footing in his return to action. He did not play in Los Angeles' season opener in Australia against the San Francisco 49ers where he could have had a positive impact on his team, which lost to the Niners to the tune of a 27-7 score.

The 10-time Pro Bowler Donald decided to dust off his cleats and return to the pros over the summer, signing a on-year, $20 million contract with the Rams, who welcomed him to the league in 2014 as their first-round (13th overall) pick in that year's NFL draft.
