The Alabama football program is just hours away from kicking off its huge game on Saturday evening against the Georgia Bulldogs. The Crimson Tide are coming into this one riding high at 5-0, but will have to bring their A-game against a Bulldogs squad that is also undefeated.
Prior to the game, Tuscaloosa hosted ESPN's “College Gameday,” which was held indoors due to the weather in the area, and legendary Alabama head coach Nick Saban was in attendance as one of the panelists.
When the crew were giving their predictions for the game, Saban riled up the crowd by picking the home team to come out victorious.
Alabama has experienced a great deal of success against Georgia over the years, dating back to Saban's tenure with the team, which included a 2017 National Championship win over the Bulldogs as well as SEC Championship wins vs them in 2012, 2018, and 2021.
Kalen DeBoer has also experienced his fair share of triumphs over Kirby Smart and company, although the Bulldogs did win the last time the teams matched up in December in last year's SEC Championship Game.
Both teams will enter Saturday's game with sparkling 5-0 records, although neither has faced a murderer's row of opponents so far this year, so it will be interesting to see how Alabama and Georgia react to the spike in competition in the form of one another.
In any case, kickoff between the Bulldogs and the Crimson Tide is slated for 7:30 pm
