Just days after winning his career's first-ever Ballon d'Or in London, UK, Harry Kane has now received a major push to get featured in the NFL. The England captain and Bayern Munich striker finished the 2025-26 season with 73 goals for club and country to become this year's Ballon d'Or winner.
Kane, 33, lifted the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal with Bayern, as well as took England to the 2026 FIFA World Cup semi-final. Now, shortly after securing the individual trophy, Kane has received an offer from a former football veteran to get featured in the NFL.
Kane had previously stated his interest in the NFL. “It all depends on what happens in my career over the next five or six years, the motivation and what I want to do. The NFL is a lot more realistic, let's put it that way,” he had previously said, while expressing his interest in getting featured in the MLS and NFL.
Now, former Tottenham Hotspur icon and ex-football star Clive Allen has opened up about helping Kane switch sports. Allen played in NFL Europe as a placekicker for the London Monarchs, converting six of six field goals and seven of ten extra points in his brief career.

I'm sure, the one thing I know he's got, he's got the leg to do it, that's for sure. “And you have to have a really strong kicking leg and he will have the mentality to deal with it as well. So, yeah, that would be fun to see him try that,” he said while speaking to TalkSports.
As of now, Kane has not yet officially responded to Allen's statements, but with his interest in American sports, a move over the Atlantic Ocean doesn't seem impossible.
