TreVeyon Henderson declares himself ready to go for Week 2

The Patriots won’t have wide receiver A.J. Brown for Sunday’s game against the Steelers, but it looks like they will have running back TreVeyon Henderson.

Henderson did not play in Week 1 because of an ankle injury he suffered during training camp. He was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, however, and he told reporters that he’s set to get back in the lineup as well.

“I’m ready to go,” Henderson said, via multiple reporters.

Henderson ran 180 times for 911 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie. His return won’t make up for losing Brown, but adding him back into the offense should make it a little easier for the Patriots to stomach life without their top wideout.
