Amid a challenging campaign plagued by multiple injuries, the Oklahoma City Thunder made contract decisions on Jared McCain, Thomas Sorber, and Nikola Topic.

According to ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel, the Thunder exercised the fourth-year option on McCain and the third-year option on Sorber.

McCain has been a major contributor since being acquired by Oklahoma City in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers last season. Sorber has yet to suit up since being drafted by the Thunder with the No. 15 pick in 2025 due to knee injuries.

OKC, meanwhile, declined the fourth-year option on Topic, who will become a free agent.

“This is pretty telling as to Topic's status on the team between now and the trade deadline,” noted Siegel on X.
