The Cleveland Guardians are trailing the Tampa Bay Rays 3-2 in the American League Championship Series. With the series headed back to Tampa Bay for Game 6 and a potential Game 7, the Rays are feeling quite confident about their chances of reaching the World Series. However, the Guardians are certainly still in the ALCS. Cleveland's offense has been unable to find a rhythm over the past four games, however.

In Game 1, the Guards earned a 7-3 victory. Since that contest, they have scored a total of eight runs over the past four ball games. The good news is that Jose Ramirez has had a big postseason. According to Talkin' Baseball, Ramirez leads all of MLB with his 12 hits in the 2026 MLB playoffs.

The Guardians are going to need their best player to step up and lead the way in Game 6. Of course, in Game 5 of the American League Division Series, Ramirez came through with a clutch two-run home run on a pitch that almost hit the dirt. Cleveland ended up winning the game by a final score of 2-0.

If Ramirez has another clutch moment on Monday night, it would not be surprising to see Cleveland force a Game 7. In all reality, the Guards are likely going to need to score more than two runs to defeat the Rays, though. Tampa Bay's offense has been heating up in recent games.

Jose Ramirez and the Guardians will look to upset the Rays in Game 6 at Tropicana Field on Monday night. First pitch is scheduled for 8:08 PM ET.
