The Houston Texans are currently gearing up for their Week 4 game at home against the Dallas Cowboys. The Texans are looking to pick up their first win of the season in this one, having lost this past week on the road vs the Indianapolis Colts and dropping to 0-3.
Recently, the team was reported to be dealing with an ankle injury to arguably its best player, pass rusher Will Anderson Jr., but thankfully, Thursday brought a positive injury update on that front, as he was a full participant in that day's practice after being limited earlier in the week, per the Texans' official team account on X, formerly Twitter.
Anderson Jr. has once again been a force on the defensive end for the Texans this year, continuing to establish himself as one of the best overall players in the NFL and playing a large role in keeping Houston competitive in these games to open up the season, even though they haven't found ways to win just yet.
Article Continues BelowThe Texans certainly aren't panicking despite their ugly start to the season, as Houston stumbled out to a similar 0-3 start last year before rallying to make the divisional round of the playoffs.
Still, Houston will need to start stacking some wins in a hurry, with the rest of the defense around Anderson Jr. largely underperforming relative to expectations up to this point in the season, and CJ Stroud and the offense also struggling of late.
In any case, the Cowboys and Texans are slated to kick off on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET.
