NFL and college football insider for CBS Sports Matt Zenitz revealed the positive update coming out of the Bay Area Thursday.

“There’s a high level of confidence at this point that 2025 first-round pick Mykel Williams, who has been out since an ACL injury last November, will be able to return to action and play next week when SF faces Seattle, sources tell CBS Sports,” Zenitz posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter.
