Tennessee is looking to make it three wins in a row on Saturday, but has a tall task as Alabama is coming to town. Last week, Tennessee started George MacIntyre at quarterback against Arkansas after Faizon Bradon was injured the week before and benched.
This week, there are more questions about who will be starting under center, thanks to the latest injury report from Tennessee, per Pete Nakos of On3.
Brandon has officially been listed as questionable on the SEC availability report. He has practiced this week, but has split time with MacIntyre.
This is the second straight game that Brandon started the week on the injury report. Brandon was not on the injury report against Auburn, but struggled, and it later came out that he was dealing with an injury. In that game, he completed just three of eight passes for zero yards and threw an interception. MacIntyre finished the game, completing eight of ten passes for 86 yards as Tennessee won 24-14.

While Brandon did dress in the game, he was there for just emergency situations, as MacIntyre got the start. MacIntyre completed 18 of 29 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown. He also threw two interceptions, but Tennessee came away with the 24-17 victory on the road over Arkansas.
Head coach Josh Heupel may be playing coy about who is starting at quarterback this week. Not only is Alabama ranked sixth in the nation, but they are also trying to rebound from a tight loss to Georgia and are 34th in opponent points per game. Anything to try to mess up Alabama's game plan will work in Tennessee's favor. Kickoff between the two top-25 teams is set for 3:30 pm ET on Saturday.
