Former NFL offensive tackle Taylor Lewan is jumping on the New York Giants bandwagon ahead of their Week 2 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams after the teams experienced drastically different season openers.

Lewan, who previously predicted the Rams would go undefeated this season, reversed course during Thursday's broadcast of ESPN's “Get Up” after Los Angeles suffered a 27-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Australia.

While Lewan's preseason prediction quickly fell apart, the Giants opened the John Harbaugh era with a victory.

New York defeated the Dallas Cowboys 28-20 in its Week 1 matchup Sunday, giving Harbaugh a win in his regular-season debut as Giants head coach. Quarterback Jaxson Dart and running back Cam Skattebo are among the players Lewan is now backing as New York turns its attention toward Los Angeles.

The Rams, meanwhile, will attempt to rebound after their lopsided season-opening defeat to NFC West rival San Francisco.

The Giants will travel to face the Rams on Monday Night Football on Sept. 21. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and ABC.
