With the Atlanta Dream looking to finish off the New York Liberty in Game 3 of the WNBA semifinals, the team has performed at a high level, which garnered the attention of Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham. While the Dream are led by Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard, and Angel Reese, Cunningham would make sure to shout out point guard Jordin Canada.

Speaking on the “No Hesitation Show,” Cunningham would give her thoughts on Atlanta and how they have been undefeated in the playoffs thus far, sweeping the Washington Mystics to start in the first round and going up two games to New York. She would make sure to mention the “beast” that is Canada, and how she has acted as the “head of the snake” for the Dream.

“You have to give Atlanta credit too, man. Like their roster this year, adding DeWanna Bonner, I think that experience and that leadership and veteranness has absolutely helped them dial in on what's important. I give a hell of a lot of credit to their coach. I think he's absolutely phenomenal. Jordin Canada, man, she's a beast. She's a beast. She's been in the league for a really long time, and I'm pretty sure that she is kind of the head of the snake sometimes,” Cunningham said.

“Like I know that you have Allisha Gray, I know that you have Rhyne Howard, but if your point guard is setting the tone defensively and also with your pace, it's going to be a long night for whoever they're playing,” Cunningham continued. “And you see that in this series; you definitely see it in the New York series that's going on right now. S***, they're looking good, man. Looking really good.”
