The Seattle Seahawks are expected to welcome veteran running back Zach Charbonnet back to the field for the first time this season when they face the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.

As the Seahawks (4-3) prepare for their Week 8 matchup against the Bears (5-2), Charbonnet carries no injury designation and is expected to make his 2026 season debut after recovering from a torn ACL.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the injury update Saturday via X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Seahawks running backs Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet have no injury designations for Monday night and both are now expected to play against the Bears,” Schefter wrote. “This will be Charbonnet’s season debut.”

Charbonnet's return provides Seattle with another proven option in its backfield as the team attempts to build momentum following its 20-3 Week 7 victory over Kenneth Walker III and the Kansas City Chiefs.

The former second-round pick also contributed in the passing game, catching 20 passes for 144 yards. He finished the regular season with 874 yards from scrimmage and 12 total touchdowns.

Charbonnet's 2025 campaign came to an early end during Seattle's eventual Super Bowl run when he suffered a torn ACL in the Seahawks' divisional-round victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He underwent offseason knee surgery and opened training camp on the physically unable to perform list while continuing his rehabilitation.

Seattle is also expected to have Price available Monday after the rookie avoided an injury designation.

The Seahawks and Bears will kick off Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
