The Oregon football season ended for all intents and purposes following last weekend's road loss to Illinois, and it could get even worse if the squad falls short against streaking Northwestern. The Ducks have faced loads of adversity this year, with Dante Moore's season-ending concussion topping the list, but Eugene is keeping its enthusiasm high on Saturday. Jamari Johnson got in the Halloween spirit and put a smile on everyone's face.
Trailing 23-13 in the third quarter, the Oregon tight end connected with quarterback Dylan Raiola for a 17-yard touchdown and immediately broke into the “Thriller” dance. He unleashed the classic zombie claws, popularized by Michael Jackson in the legendary 1983 music video. Johnson deserves credit for committing to the theme and using convincing facial expressions.
The Oregon Duck, dressed as Darth Vader Duck, witnessed the entire celebration with his red lightsaber in hand. This has not been a fun season, but the program and community is doing everything it can to be positive. A home win versus No. 20 Northwestern would help with that mission.

Johnson only has one catch at time of print, but with the TD and memorable post-TD display, he has definitely left his imprint on this Big Ten matchup. The Ducks will try to usher in the evening holiday festivities with a triumphant fourth-quarter finish.
Oregon has to keep pushing forward. Life certainly did not go as planned for the zombies in “Thriller,” but they made the best out of their unfortunate situation and had a good time regardless. Jamari Johnson has seemingly learned that same lesson and is hoping his efforts will result in a 5-3 record by night's end.
