Seahawks tight end Elijah Arroyo is expected to miss time with a shoulder injury, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

Arroyo injured his shoulder while trying to recover Rashid Shaheed’s fumble with 2:34 remaining until halftime in the Seahawks’ 17-14 overtime loss to the Broncos on Thursday night.

Fowler added that the team is still determining the severity of the injury, but Arroyo could have an extended absence.

The Seahawks signed tight end Josiah Deguara to the practice squad on Monday for depth purposes.

Deguara, a 2020 third-round pick of the Packers, has appeared in 78 games with 12 starts. He played one game with the Eagles this season.

Deguara has 53 career catches for 471 yards and three touchdowns.

The Seahawks also signed fullback Jackson Acker to the practice squad, and in corresponding moves, they cut running back Dontae McMillan and receiver Malick Meiga.
