The Seattle Seahawks are 2-1 and battling tough injuries leading up to Week 5's game vs. the Chargers. Running back Jadarian Price's fumbling problem has been an issue along with nagging injury concerns.

ESPN's Brady Henderson shared a key update on Price ahead of the game, and it's bad news for the running back's fantasy owners.

“The Seahawks ruled out RB Jadarian Price for their game Sunday against the Chargers. “(Coach) Mike Macdonald said he re-aggravated his chest injury on Wednesday. George Holani and Emmanuel Wilson are the next options in Seattle's backfield.”

Holani and Wilson battled it out in training camp with Holani emerging as the victor. Holani's size at 5-foot-11, 210 pounds makes him an ideal player to grind out carries in Macdonald's physical offense, something Wilson also brings to the offense.

Missing Price could be tough on the Seahawks' offense if the Chargers are able to play up their preseason billing. The ex-Notre Dame star brings big-play ability on par with ex-Vikings star Dalvin Cook, according to one recent estimation.

The Seahawks' passing game has the talent to assist the running game, but the team's Sam Darnold led offense needs to play better as a whole than it did in Week 4's upset loss to the Commanders. Week 5 looks like one of the best games on the NFL schedule, and it would look even better with Price in it. The Seahawks know about the “next man up” mentality as much as any other team, and are set to put it on full display against the Chargers.
