The Pittsburgh Steelers' victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday came at a cost. They lost Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek due to a finger injury and a calf injury, respectively, further thinning the team's receiving unit.
Wilson suffered the finger injury after an incomplete pass attempt from Aaron Rodgers in the second quarter. He was seen grabbing his left hand immediately following the play and was ruled out for the rest of the contest.
The Steelers defeated the Colts, 34-22.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the 25-year-old pass-catcher is likely to be sidelined for multiple weeks. He, however, will seek a second opinion.
Wilson getting hurt was the latest blow for Pittsburgh's offense, which is already missing Michael Pittman Jr. due to a foot injury. The severity of Skowronek's calf injury, meanwhile, remains unclear.
