Good dog.
The Carolina Panthers fired their defensive coordinator last week after an embarrassing loss to the Packers, and at halftime, the Panthers’ field staff struggled to contain a rogue corgi. The halftime corgi race turned into anarchy when one little floofer decided it was time to traipse across the verdant field — and nobody was stopping it.
Just some really good moves by the corgi here to see open field and find gaps in the protection. I also want to shout out the lateral movement, which shook the humans and made them re-think all their choices when it came to chasing a tiny, flully dog.
The thing about corgis is that they might not be the world’s most physically gifted running dog, but when they’re motivated about ANYTHING, they turn into unstoppable balls of energy with the only goal being mischief. One has to wonder if the Panthers will rethink having a corgi race in the future. It’s like inviting a cupcake school into your stadium and have them embarass you in front of everyone.
Good dog, though. Very good dog.
