The Patriots are set to open the practice week without a couple of key offensive players.

Head coach Mike Vrabel said at his Wednesday press conference that running back Rhamondre Stevenson and wide receiver Mack Hollins are expected to sit out the team’s first on-field work of Week 5.

Stevenson was injured late in last Sunday’s win over the Bills. Vrabel did not specify the nature of what appeared to be a lower body injury, but word will come on the injury report. The Patriots worked out Jamaal Williams on Tuesday in a move that was likely related to the uncertainty about Stevenson’s availability.

Hollins injured his calf in Buffalo.

Vrabel also said that cornerback Christian Gonzalez will remain out of practice. He missed all of last week with a shoulder injury.
