The Buccaneers shut out the Falcons in Sunday’s win, but their defense lost a starter to injury on the way to victory.
Linebacker Yaya Diaby left the game with a knee injury. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Diaby is believed to have a sprained MCL and he is set to have an MRI to provide further clarity on the extent of the injury. That testing will also provide a better idea of when Diaby is able to return to the lineup.
Diaby was limited to seven snaps against Atlanta.
Diaby did not land on the stat sheet during his brief time in Sunday’s game, but he has 16 tackles, three sacks and an interception over the course of the entire season.
