The Baltimore Ravens recently picked up an impressive road win over the Atlanta Falcons in overtime, despite starting quarterback Lamar Jackson not playing. The Ravens now sit at 4-1 on the season as they hope to get healthier moving forward.
Now, the team has gotten a positive injury update on star pass rusher Trey Hendrickson.
“…the Ravens are hopeful that edge rusher Trey Hendrickson, who underwent a finger procedure recently, can work his way back into action this week, depending on his practice availability,” reported NFL insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Hendrickson last played in the Ravens' win in Rio against the Dallas Cowboys just over two weeks ago, having signed with the Ravens in free agency this year following his strong tenure with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Meanwhile, Adam Schefter of ESPN recently reported that Jackson had a “realistic” chance of returning this week against the Cleveland Browns, while wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane is also expected to return to practice soon amid his recent wrist injury, per NFL insider Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.
Getting back these reinforcements will certainly help out Baltimore as they look to build off their strong start to the season.

Fans quickly held their breath when Jackson suffered his ankle injury against the Tennessee Titans last week, but thankfully, it doesn't appear to be anything as severe as the hamstring injury that kept him out for several weeks last season.
In any case, the Ravens and Browns are slated to kick off on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET from Cleveland.
