The Toronto Raptors have Kawhi Leonard in their hands after the trade from the Los Angeles Clippers was officially completed. The next thing for Leonard and the Raptors is a contract extension, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer.

“The Toronto Raptors and Kawhi Leonard have held advanced discussions and are nearing an agreement on a contract extension, according to league sources. Leonard is eligible to sign for upwards of two years, $126 million,” Fischer wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
