After starting the campaign 2-2 through the first four games, it appears the Los Angeles Rams are in need of depth at linebacker. On Tuesday, the club signed a former All-Pro from the Minnesota Vikings who played for the San Francisco 49ers last season.

Reports indicate that L.A. officially signed Eric Kendricks to the team, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. The 34-year-old is joining the club's practice squad. Plans to join the active roster are currently unknown.

“The Rams have signed 11-year veteran LB Eric Kendricks,” Meirov reported.

Kendricks entered the NFL as a second-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, playing as a starter throughout most of his career (150 games, 143 starts). He played eight seasons with the Vikings, earning a First-Team All-Pro nod for his efforts in the 2019-2020 season. He also played for the Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, and the 49ers just last season, appearing in three games with the club.
