So far, Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson has been fulfilling expectations. Also, because Caleb Williams is still battling a hamstring injury, he has had to use his other quarterbacks.
So far, he has succeeded with backups Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent in Weeks 3 and 4, respectively. As a result, Johnson has avoided an elite list of NFL coaches, per Ben Solak of ESPN. He could have joined Tom Coughlin, Al Saunders, and Don Shula as the only coaches to win 3 of their first 4 games with three different quarterbacks.
However, Johnson didn't become the 4th because he started Keenum in Week 4, at the start of the game against the New York Jets last Sunday. Keenum got the first snap from under center before Bagent came in for the rest of the game.
“Johnson would have been the fourth coach on this list … if not for the fact that he got smarmy and made Case Keenum, not Tyson Bagent, the starting quarterback in Week 4 by giving Keenum the first snap from under center … and then played Bagent the rest of the game,” Solak wrote. “Johnson wanted to make a point after it was reported this week that Bagent was the Week 4 starter before Johnson had announced his selection.”

Johnson confirmed that Bagent will start at QB against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday.
