Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford avoided an injury scare Monday night after New York Giants edge rusher Brian Burns shoved him out of bounds, sending the quarterback into a padded equipment barrier on the visiting sideline.

The play came late in the third quarter at SoFi Stadium with Los Angeles leading 21-6. Stafford scrambled around right end for 2 yards on first-and-10 from the Giants' 40 before Burns forced him out at the 38. Stafford stayed on his feet, kept possession of the football and remained in the game. Officials did not flag Burns on the play.

SM Highlights took to X, formerly Twitter, Monday night with a clip showing Stafford's collision with the sideline equipment structure.
