Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is hopeful the team's secondary will receive a key reinforcement with safety Kamren Kinchens potentially returning for a Week 4 road matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Rams enter the week at 1-2 after suffering a 30-26 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football. As Los Angeles attempts to bounce back, Kinchens could make his return after dealing with a hamstring injury.
Rams team writer Stu Jackson shared an update on Kinchens' status Tuesday via X, formerly known as Twitter.
“On The Coach McVay Show with @JB_Long, Rams HC Sean McVay said they are ‘hopeful’ they'll get safety Kamren Kinchens (hamstring) back this week.”
Kinchens' potential return would provide Los Angeles with another option in the secondary as it prepares to face an Eagles team that enters Week 4 with a 2-1 record.

Los Angeles will look to rebound after letting a significant advantage slip away against Denver.
The Rams built a 16-0 halftime lead over the Broncos before Denver rallied in the second half. Los Angeles still had an opportunity to retake the lead late, but quarterback Matthew Stafford threw an interception on the potential game-winning drive.
The loss dropped the Rams below .500 through the opening three weeks of the season after they earned their first victory with a 28-6 win over the New York Giants in Week 2.
Getting Kinchens back would give McVay and the Rams some additional help as they attempt to avoid a second consecutive loss. His status throughout the practice week should provide more clarity on whether he will be ready to return against Philadelphia.
The Rams will travel to face the Eagles on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT.
