The Las Vegas Raiders are picking up the pieces after nearly knocking off the Buffalo Bills Sunday. But now that includes making a major change with former first rounder Evan Neal.

The one-time top 10 NFL Draft pick and Vegas severed ties with one another Monday, the franchise shared. Neal landed on the team's practice squad following his Aug. 2026 departure from the New York Giants, as he clearly didn't fit in with the coach John Harbaugh regime.

But now Neal's Raiders tenure becomes short lived, which also comes amid the team's three-game losing skid. Vegas has taken losses to AFC powers the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots and now the Bills.

However, the silver and black delivered two corresponding moves after releasing the tackle Neal.

Tackles Amari Kight and Darian Kinnard have joined Vegas and will get their starts with the practice squad. Kight happens to share his own Alabama Crimson Tide connection with Neal, as he played for ‘Bama from 2019 to 2022 alongside the now former Raider.

Kight brings a Super Bowl ring in tow too, having won it last year with the Seattle Seahawks. So he comes with familiarity for head coach Klint Kubiak, who was his offensive coordinator during that run.

Kinnard is another past Super Bowl winner, owning three rings in his career. He claimed two championships with the rival Kansas City Chiefs and then added his other playing against KC while with the Philadelphia Eagles. Kinnard is a former SEC performer as well, having starred at Kentucky.
