Quinnen Williams: I expect to be dominant every week, I wasn't against Giants

After the Cowboys lost to the Giants last Sunday night, defensive tackle Quinnen Williams said the team needs to be critical of themselves in order to clean up what went wrong in the game.

On Wednesday, Williams shared how that process has played out for himself over the last few days. Williams said he feels he had a “decent” outing, but that the film shows he “could be more disruptive in the backfield” and that he doesn’t need anyone else to tell him that he has room to do more against the Commanders this week.

“No, not at all man,” Williams said, via the team’s website. “Can’t nobody in this world hold me accountable more than I hold myself. Can’t nobody in this world critique me more than myself. So I expect to be dominant every single week, I expect to be a playmaker or a game changer every single week. I wasn’t that, and I got to do better.”

Williams said the response from the team this week has been “unbelievable” and the Cowboys will be hoping that translates to a better on-field performance than the one they had in Week 1.
