The New England Patriots are dealing with TreVeyon Henderson's injury. And it might mean more work for Rhamondre Stevenson. However, the Patriots sought outside help, signing a former Chargers running back, according to a post on X by Adam Schefter.

The Patriots are off to a 3-2 start, trailing the first-place Bills by one game in the AFC East.

“Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson suffered a high ankle sprain during Sunday’s win over the Raiders that now is expected to sideline him multiple weeks, per league sources. Henderson will not need surgery, and he is regarded as a quick healer, so the Patriots are hoping his return is sooner rather than later.”

It hasn’t been a great start to the season for Henderson. He hasn’t seen a great deal of usage, carrying 42 times in four games. He missed the season opener.
