“Green Bay has beat one team since Micah Parsons was injured last season and that was the Jets on Sunday, who they needed OT to beat. Without Josh Jacobs, the offense is one-dimensional and Jordan Love is struggling in pass-obvious concepts. I can’t trust the Packers without Jacobs or Parsons. I took the Falcons +7 and +6.5. I might get involved the first quarter (+0.5) or first half spreads (+3.5). Green Bay is also making their home debut, which could inflate the spread a bit after being on the road for two-straight weeks.

Michael Penix is a major upgrade for Atlanta over Cooper Rush or Jack Strand. The offense was held to three points in a 34-3 home loss to Carolina. Drake London and Bijan Robinson were on the sidelines very passionately speaking their minds. I like both guys to get into the end zone on Thursday night. London (+195) hasn’t scored yet this season and Robinson (-165) has a receiving touchdown in week 1.”

If you take away Penix’s two poor starts against, he would have had nine passing touchdowns to one interceptions over seven starts and the offense would’ve averaged 22.5 points per game. One factor to watch is his accuracy. Penix completed 59.8% of his passes outside compared to 67.4% indoors. His completion percentage dropped even more on the road, going from 69% at home to 53.8% away from Atlanta.

· Green Bay: Jordan Love – Through two games, Jordan Love has tossed four combined touchdowns against the Jets and Vikings, but get them in very different ways. Against Minnesota, Love threw for 387 yards on 21-of-42 (50%), which was two short of his career-high, which was also set against the Vikings. However, versus the Jets, Love threw for 145 yards and completed 16 of his 29 passes (55.2%). Last year, Love completed a career-high 66.3% of his passes, the third-most yards (3,381), and third-most touchdowns (23).
