Ole Miss is set to end its long-running partnership with Nike and begin a new apparel era with Adidas. The Rebels have agreed to a seven-year agreement with Adidas that will make the global sportswear company the official apparel partner for Ole Miss athletics.

The Adidas contract is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2027, and run through 2034. Ole Miss' existing Nike agreement expires in June 2027, meaning the Rebels will make the switch ahead of the 2027 football season. The new agreement is worth more than $20 million annually, according to On3's Brett McMurphy.

Ole Miss has been partnered with Nike since 1999, making the upcoming change the end of a 27-year relationship with the brand. During that period, Nike became closely associated with the Rebels' athletic programs and their various uniform designs.

The new agreement is also expected to contain major commitments toward name, image and likeness opportunities for Ole Miss athletes. Those NIL commitments are projected to be 10 times larger than what Nike had previously committed under its partnership with the school.

Beyond apparel and NIL, Adidas is expected to work with the Rebels on branding, colors and future uniform designs. The company is also expected to contribute to renovations at campus bookstores and invest in premium fan experiences on campus, although the specific details of those projects have yet to be determined.

The agreement adds Ole Miss to Adidas' growing group of Power Four programs. The company recently secured partnerships with Tennessee and Penn State, while its other college partners include Texas A&M, Indiana, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Louisville, Washington, Arizona State, NC State, Kansas and Texas Tech, among others.

The move also comes shortly after Adidas lost Miami, which is returning to Nike following an 11-year partnership with Adidas. Once the Hurricanes' 12-year Adidas contract expires next June, the program will transition to Nike under a 10-year agreement worth more than $200 million.
