The Las Vegas Raiders are struggling. They began the season strong but have suddenly dropped to 3-4 overall. The Raiders have a number of questions to answer. With the NFL trade deadline drawing near, will Las Vegas consider trading star Maxx Crosby? Tim Kawakami of The San Francisco Standard recently addressed the idea from the San Francisco 49ers' perspective.
“Even when the Raiders were 3-0, I’ve mentioned Maxx Crosby as an option. Now with the Raiders at 3-3 (now 3-4, the story was published on Sunday) … I think he’s a very real option, if Mark Davis can even consider trading him to the 49ers,” Kawakami wrote in a story.
The 49ers have enjoyed a strong season. They were upset 29-20 by the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, however. Still, San Francisco is 6-1 overall.
This 49ers team would benefit from adding a star defender such as Crosby. As currently constructed, San Francisco probably features enough talent to make a Super Bowl run. One could have argued the same for the Los Angeles Rams before they acquired Myles Garrett during the offseason, though. While Garrett has dealt with injury concerns, the trade itself made sense for an LA team with serious Super Bowl aspirations.

Interestingly, the 49ers' next game is scheduled for November 8 against Maxx Crosby's Raiders — which is only two days before the November 10 NFL trade deadline.
