The Indianapolis Colts may not be finished making moves ahead of the NFL trade deadline after dealing All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson and three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner on Tuesday.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz suggested that Indianapolis could continue its roster overhaul following the team's 16-10 Week 7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
“The #Colts may not be done yet either…”
Schultz shared the message Tuesday via X, formerly known as Twitter, shortly after Indianapolis completed two significant trades involving longtime franchise cornerstones.
The Colts began Tuesday by sending Nelson to the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round selection.
Nelson, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time first-team All-Pro, had been a cornerstone of Indianapolis' offensive line since the organization selected him sixth overall in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Hours later, Indianapolis traded Buckner to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round pick, sending the veteran defensive tackle back to the organization where he began his NFL career.

Buckner originally joined the Colts in 2020 after Indianapolis acquired him from San Francisco in exchange for a first-round selection.

With the Colts sitting at 2-5 following consecutive losses, the organization appears willing to move established veterans in exchange for future draft capital.
Schultz did not identify any additional players Indianapolis could move, leaving uncertainty surrounding the team's next potential transaction.
The Colts will look to snap their losing streak when they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) in Week 8 on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
