While the start of the season was rough, the defending champion New York Knicks have rebounded, and fans will want to start tuning into games now that the NBA season is fully underway.

With 82 regular season games, it can be hard to keep track of how to watch the Knicks. Luckily, since they are the defending champions and one of the best teams in the league, they have a lot of nationally televised games, whether they be on Peacock/NBC, ESPN, or Prime Video.

The Knicks' starting five for the 2026-27 season is the same as last year. However, they lost center Mitchell Robinson to the Boston Celtics, their division rivals. Luckily, five games into the season, Andre Drummond has adequately filled Robinson's role.

Those in the Knicks' TV markets will be able to watch the games through their regional sports network. In the Knicks' case, it is MSG Network.

If you live in the New York market, Knicks games on MSG are available through FuboTV.

What if you're out of market?

Another option for out-of-market Knicks fans is NBA League Pass. There are various subscription options, with the cheapest monthly plan costing $16.99/month. There is another option, which costs $24.99/month, that gives viewers a commercial-free experience.

If fans want to save money, League Pass offers an option to pay for the whole season. The standard plan costs $109.99/season, while the commercial-free plan costs $159.99'season.

Now, the only thing about NBA League Pass is that it still occasionally blacks out games. Nationally televised games won't be available on the streaming service, nor will in-market broadcasts on the area's regional sports network. Luckily, local game blackouts can be replayed on the streaming service three days after it airs on TV, and nationally televised games can be replayed at 6 am EST the following morning.

The NBA has five main partners for its national broadcasts, including traditional networks like ABC, ESPN, NBA TV, and NBC.

However, NBC's recent NBA revival also includes games being broadcast on Peacock, its streaming service. NBC sometimes does “Coast 2 Coast Tuesday” broadcasts, which means there's a game at 8 pm EST and 8 pm PST afterward. Additionally, both games usually stream on Peacock. NBC is also home to the All-Star Weekend and holiday quadruple-headers on MLK Day and Presidents Day.

Prime Video is the latest partner to join the fray. It joined last year alongside NBC for the 2025-26 season. Subscribers can catch games on the streaming service, which will also broadcast the elimination stages and the NBA Cup championship game. Prime Video will also broadcast the Eastern Conference Finals, something Knicks fans hope to watch come next year.

Games are also broadcast on NBA TV, which is included in a League Pass subscription. It is also available through most pay TV plans.
