As the Dallas Mavericks continue training camp preparations for the 2026-27 NBA season, star forward Cooper Flagg provided another update on his height after recently confirming that he grew during the offseason.

Flagg previously said he had grown from 6-foot-9 to 6-foot-10, while pushing back against rumors that he had reached 6-foot-11. The 21-year-old has now added another measurement to the discussion.

Ron Harrod Jr. of DLLS Mavs shared Flagg's latest comments Wednesday on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I think I've actually grown another quarter of an inch since then,” Flagg said. “I’m 6′ 10.5 now, I would say with my shoes.”

Flagg's latest update comes as he prepares for his second season with the Mavericks following a standout rookie campaign. Dallas selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft before he quickly emerged as one of the franchise's primary building blocks.

The reigning Rookie of the Year averaged 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game during his first NBA season. He shot 46.8% from the field and 29.5% from 3-point range across 70 appearances while averaging 33.5 minutes per contest.

Any additional height could further add to Flagg's versatility entering his sophomore campaign. Already capable of contributing across multiple positions, his combination of size and skill gives Dallas flexibility on both ends of the floor.

Flagg will now look to help lead a Mavericks turnaround after the team finished the 2025-26 season with a 26-56 record and placed 12th in the Western Conference.

Dallas enters the new season with a reshaped roster and coaching staff around Flagg as the franchise attempts to return to playoff contention. While the exact measurement of its young star continues to generate discussion, Flagg has made one thing clear: He believes he is still growing.
