Ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season, New York Knicks captain Jalen Brunson is launching Thirty Third Management Group, a new firm that manages his off-court business.

Suffice it to say, he is excited, as the 2026 NBA Finals MVP said, “My family has been with me every step of the way, and everything we do is rooted in trust. Thirty Third gives us the chance to take ownership of my off-court business, to build something that reflects who we are, and to do it together,” via Chris Haynes.

This is the latest move made by Brunson during his eventful offseason. From winning the Knicks their first championship in 53 years to making another WWE appearance, he has done it all.

Now, he is setting himself up for a future outside of basketball. His new firm will help with all of his off-court ventures as he builds out his resume.

Brunson was integral in leading the Knicks to a championship this summer. He averaged 32.6 points per game in the NBA Finals, and in Game 5, he scored 45 points to put the San Antonio Spurs away.

This capped a postseason full of late-game comebacks and a lengthy win streak. The Knicks won 13 games in a row after going down 2-1 to the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs. They swept the Philadelphia 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers on their way to the NBA Finals.

During the regular season, Brunson's fourth with the Knicks, he averaged 26 points per game, the same total as the season before. He also averaged 3.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game.

The Knicks now enter the 2026-27 season as the defending champions. Expectations will be high as the Knicks start the season. The competition will also be tough, as the 76ers added the likes of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown to challenge New York this season.
