Philadelphia 76ers' two-time champion Kentavious Caldwell-Pope knows the impact LeBron James can have on a team with championship aspirations. He won his first title alongside James as members of the 2020 champion Los Angeles Lakers six years ago. As James enters his new tenure with the 76ers, Caldwell-Pope says the four-time champion's presence, with only one preseason game under his belt, is already felt within the team.
Caldwell-Pope addressed James' team impact at 76ers' practice on Tuesday.
“Just his presence. His leadership, just being here. Speaking when you see things on the floor,” Caldwell-Pope said. “I think he's still trying to learn everything as far as like what to say on the court, you know, what's the calls. Stuff like that, and once he's learned that, I think everything's gonna be great. Right now, he's still trying to figure it out.”
For 76ers veteran Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, entering his 14th NBA season, chemisty on and off the court is vital for the ultimate success of winning a title.
“Our chemistry is gonna be the biggest part for us,” Caldwell-Pope said. “Us liking each other, being able to be around each other, and having fun on and off the court.”
With a 76ers roster loaded with talent, led by All-Stars Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, and VJ Edgecombe surrounding LeBron James, Caldwell-Pope reiterated the importance of team continuity.

The 76ers will host the Celtics in their preseason finale on Friday.
